Paragraphs for The Book The Trojan War

Calchas - Calchas was king Agamemnon's prophet. That's why "The king sought out Calchas, who knew the mind of gods" (p. 27-28).
Then Calchas tried to convince  Agamemnon not to go to war as he knew of the gods' ill favor.
Iphigenia - Iphigenia was king Agamemnon's and Clytemnestra's daughter. She was a gay girl and her father  wanted to marry her nobly. But then he sacrificed her for the wind for the journey to Troy. "Iphigenia was at the last pitifully brave"(p. 29).
But Artemis let her live.
Agamemnon - Agamemnon , king of Mycanae and king Menelaus's brother played important roles in the Trojan War." [His] nature could not bare the reproach of failure" (p. 30). His pride was bigger than the love for his own daughter. In the camp in Aulis he sacrificed Iphigenia to change the wind for the journey to Troy.
