Character Catalogue for The Book Trojan War

Zeus - "Zeus ... own rule must be ended if a god became greater than he" (p. 4).
Thetis - "... Thetis, the sea nymph ... was as hard to catch as the sun on the dancing water" (p. 3-4).
Peleus - "Peleus, king of the Myrmidons, was the chosen bridegroom ... Peleus wouldn't let her go until she had promised to be his bride" (p. 4).
Hera - "... Hera, queen of the gods ... was among the foremost claimants" (p. 6).
Athene - "... gray-eyed Athene ... stood before [Paris] in her simple dress" (p. 6-8)
Aphrodite - "... golden Aphrodite ... around whose white feet grew heavy-scented narcissi and golden daffodils ... [She] was triumphant ..." (p. 6-10).
